I was driving home from my brother’s house in Londonderry New Hampshire listening to Toucher and Rich on 98.5 the sports hub and they were playing songs created by listeners and the topic was Tim Tebow, the songs that they were playing were funny but I knew I could create a much much better song.

So, when I get home, I set out to create a Tim Tebow song.

Being a big karaoke enthusiast, I had many songs to choose from and I settled on Lou Reed’s sweet Jane and created the song Tebow wins.

 

 

To my surprise Toucher and Rich loved this song and played it many times. To hear yourself singing a song you wrote on the radio is a trip and I liked the way it felt. So, I wrote a couple more songs for Toucher and Rich.

I wrote shout shout shout Gronkowski and steak and eggs.

And they played them over and over and over and even had a 15-minute segment on their show about what a lyrical genius I was.

well naturally being three for three I was hooked I said this getting on radio stuff is easy.

I estimate over a 100 of Uncle Diesel songs have been played on the radio.

This is a time where my skill for songwriting became polished and extremely prolific, I could write about anything anytime anywhere with confidence.

I didn’t have the equipment but I use what I had and created hundreds of songs.

I moved to Florida in the spring of 2012 and continued writing sports parody songs, at this time I became part of the Gresh and Zo show 98.5 Boston

Even from far far away I was still being heard by a listing audience of 500,000.

I had a falling out with the Gresh and Zo show because I shared my Music with the rival WEEI Boston.

Zo has said to me and I quote “you are dead to me”

I was bummed out but still made Uncle Diesel songs, I have a following of people who would share my music and correspond with me. You can access my Music anytime go to

I was able to get on Tampa radio several times and on TV –“yes” Fox 13 Tampa Bay came to my house and did a segment on Uncle Diesel. the song the night Chicago died had become real popular singing about The Tampa lightning’s quest for the Stanley cup.

My songs still get played in Boston 

And Manchester NH.

People call me and let me know my music still gets airtime.

But then it happened I started writing serious songs again and found I opened up like a busted dam, But that’s another chapter.
